Access to Higher Education
This course is for mature students with no, or few qualifications and can be completed in 1 or 2 years.
Access to Higher Education prepares students for Degree or Diploma level study at University and foucuses on the development of confidence as well as skills for future study. The course provides a foundation in English, Maths and Study Skills, including IT. Students also study subjects they hope to go onto during their degree.
Diploma for Progression is the first year of the two year Access programme. Students will gain a nationally recognised cerificate when the successfully complete the year.
