Adult Learners Week 9 to 15th May 2009
Now in its 17th year, Adult Learners' Week is a wonderful celebration of the energy and inspiration that adults bring to their learning. It seeks to use the achievements of learners to inspire others to have to go - whether it be learning a new skill, learning for fun, or catching up on learning missed at school. At City of Bath College we will be holding our awards ceremony during this week as well as an open day on Wednesday 11th May 4-7pm
Students and staff from City of Bath College wowed the crowds at the West Wilts Show with demonstrations of carpentry and stonemasonry.
Visiting other cultures can be a life-changing experience. This is what six construction students from the College discovered when they went to a remote village called Medina Salaam in The Gambia to build a market place in a week.
"City of Bath College has responded to the Bath Chronicle's ‘Bath Bites Back' campaign by providing a short work readiness course for adults looking to improve their prospects." says Principal.
Adam Evans, City of Bath College plumbing apprentice, from RJ Mitchell and Son, is named runner up in national Plumb Skills competition.
