College shows off construction skills at West Wilts Show
Students and staff from City of Bath College wowed the crowds at the West Wilts Show with demonstrations of carpentry and stonemasonry.
The College's Construction Skills Centre had its own stand at the popular event, to showcase the skills of students and the variety of courses on offer at City of Bath College.
The West Wilts Show is one of Wiltshire's largest events and took place in Trowbridge Park from Thursday 23 July to Saturday 25 July.
As well as watching demonstrations of carpentry and stonemasonry, visitors to the stand also had the opportunity to construct their own wooden bird boxes and take them away for their gardens.
One of the younger visitors to the stand was nine year old James Welbourn from Trowbridge, who put together his own bird box with the help of student Mike Ashman, 17, an apprentice who is studying for his NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry.
Hundreds of people visited the College's stand over the three days.
