Millinery - Summer School NEW

An introduction to the art of hat making. Come along and learn the basics of millinery and decorative techniques to produce simple hat forms. Suitable for beginners.

Pattern Cutting - Saturday NEW

This day-long course aims to provide an introduction to pattern cutting, run by industry professionals in our state-of-the-art fashion workshops.

Pattern Cutting - Easter Workshop

This is a broad programme investigating pattern cutting and producing a toile for a skirt. The workshop will cover dart manipulation, pocket construction with various different fastenings and waistband finishes. Students should bring with them a range of skirt ideas to work from. One will then be produced into a paper pattern then constructed in calico. The programme is run by an industry professional in our state-of-the-art fashion workshops.

Pattern Cutting - Summer School NEW

Introduction to Felting - Saturday NEW

Come along to this one-day course; be introduced to the process of felt making and have some fun - you will amazed by the potential of this innovative process.

Printed Textiles

To include screen print using pigment and other media, students would be guided through the required pathway to a viable printed outcome. All skills needed from research, original image execution, mark making and selection to produce possible product or textile art would be investigated. The emphasis will be on self development on an individual basis in a friendly and fun environment.

Creative Fabrics - Felt making- Saturday NEW

On this one-day course you will be introduced to basic and some extended processes of felt making. We will experiment with a range of coloured wool tops combined with threads and fabrics to create pattern and texture and small three-dimensional forms. Felting is a wonderful way of creating brightly coloured fabrics from recycled knitted garments. Come along and be introduced to the process and have some fun - you will amazed by the potential of this innovative process.
