Whether you want to learn how to operate a 35mm SLR or find your way around your digital camera, these courses will help you to use your kit to take good photographs and how to tidy them up in Photoshop.

Photography - Camera & Darkroom

Learn how to operate a 35mm SLR camera, be shown how to process your film and how to produce black and white prints.

Studio Photography - NEW

Studio Photography NEW for January 2012. This new programme will give students the opportunity to explore processes and techniques in lighting and camera applications.

Photography - Digital

This course focuses upon developing and exploring digital camera skills and photo editing.

Photography - Digital - Easter

This four day course will enable students to combine a variety of approaches to digital photography. The programme will focus upon developing and exploring digital camera skills and photo editing. Giving students the opportunity to explore aperture and shutter speed, white balance and techniques in lighting. You will use our professional photographic studio and mac facility to develop personal responses. Students are welcome to bring their own cameras - Art Department camers will also be available.

Location Photography - Darkroom - Saturday NEW

Explore the beautiful World Heritage City of Bath with your 35mm SLR camera and learn how to process and print your work using traditional wet photography processes. Students are welcome to bring along their own cameras if they wish.

Location Photography - Digital - Saturday NEW

Explore the environment of the World Heritage City of Bath while learning the techniques of location photography and digital manipulation in our state-of-the-art Mac studios and take home a colour print of your best photograph. Students wishing to attend this course will need to bring along a digital SLR camera.
