English for Speakers of Other Languages

We have a course for you if English is not your first language. Do you want to improve your English language skills? Do you want to study for a nationally or inter nationally recognised qualification? Do you want to improve your English language skills for employment, for further study and/or for daily living? We have a wide range of courses for complete beginners to proficiency level. Classes take place on various days and times. You can study either 4, 5 or 15 hours a week, depending on your needs. We will offer advice and initial assessment to place you on the most appropriate course to support your level of skills and abilities. You will be able to work towards a nationally recognised Skills for Life qualification. In addition, there are opportunities to sit additional internationally recognised exams.

English as a Second Language - E3 - Part-time 4 hour

English as a Second Language - L1 - Part-time 4 hour

To improve English language skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking. And gain qualifications.

English as a Second Language - E1 - Part-time 5 hour

To improve English language skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking.

English as a Second Language - E3 - Part-time 5 hour

To improve English language skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking. And also gaining a recognised qualification.

English as a Second Language - L1 - Part-time 5 hour

To improve English language skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking. And gain qualifications.

English as a Second Language - E1 - Part-time 4 hour

To improve English language skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking.

English as a Second Language - E2 - Part-time 4 hour

To improve English language skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking. And gain a qualification.

ESOL

Preliminary English Test, Key English Test, Certificate of Advanced English, Certificate of Proficiency in English, First Certificate in English.

ESOL IELTS

This programme is ideal for learners who require an IELTS score for entry into university.

ESOL PET / FCE / CAE / CPE / KET

This programme is for learners who require to improve their English language skills and gain PET (Preliminary English Test) / FCE (First Certificate in English) / CAE (Certificate of Advanced English) / KET (Key English Test)or CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) qualifications.

ESOL - Business English Certificate

Learn the vocabulary needed to conduct business in English.

ESOL Skills for Life

These courses will help you to develop speaking and listening, reading and writing skills at a level to suit your needs.

ESOL Summer School

Our ESOL Summer School gives learners an opportunity to learn and develop their English Language skills.

Decisions regarding running or cancelling a course are made one week prior to the start of the course. If a course is cancelled, you will be informed and refunded in full.
