Apple Mac Computers - Introduction (Media)
This four-week course will introduce you to Apple Mac computers, digital photography and video.
You will learn the basics of the Mac Operating System and how to look after your digital media, how to bring in photos and video from a range of cameras to a computer and file management, to organise your projects. You will learn the basics of Apple's iMovie, iPhoto and Photoshop. You will get to grips with encoding web video using Quicktime for YouTube etc. and learn the basics of iDVD to burn your videos onto DVD.

Apple Mac Computers - Introduction (Music Technology)
This four-week course introduces those new to Apple Mac computers and Music Technology. You will learn the basics of the Mac Operating System and how to look after your digital media, record audio files, burn audio CDs and work with Garage Band, Logic and ProTools session files. You will get to grips with file management and backing up your work. You will also learn the basics of Garage Band and how to sequence audio and MIDI. Learners completing this course can progress to the introductory courses in Making Music with Logic Pro 8 and/or Recording Techniques.

Build Your First iPhone App
This course will teach you how to build apps for the Apple iPad or iPhone while producing a simple promotional app and a simple ebook. Your sessions will cover Apple iPhone Developer Programme and Apple SDK, interface and tools, designing the user interface, handling content and data, simulating and debugging finalising, compiling and deploying. Choose from two attendance options.
