The LoveBath film competition has become a new and exciting addition to the array of influential festivals and contests which exist for film-makers. This workshop reveals the basic aspects, from initial idea to the finished draft, required in writing a script for that potentially award winning short film.

Screenwriting - Part 1
This eight-week course introduces you to the developmental sections of screenwriting, such as format, structure, character and plot, culminating at the point where you are ready to begin writing your own full-length feature film.

Screenwriting - Part 2
This eight-week course follows on from part one and takes you through the writing of a full-length feature film, including outline, treatment and scene breakdown.

Screenwriting - Part 3 - Group Workshop
The third part of this course continues over three evenings in the summer. Students who have completed parts one and two return on 17th April, 15th May and 12th June to discuss progress and development of their screenplays.

Seriously Funny: Writing TV Sitcom - Saturday
This workshop looks at the serious business of writing television situation comedy, one of the most lucrative areas in all of the television-based genres. Topics covered include finding the situation, creating successful comedic characters, generating storyline ideas and exploring the differences between UK and US sitcom.

Writing TV Crime Drama - Saturday
This workshop will look at the creation, development and writing of one of the most sought after genres on television - the crime series.
