Highways Open Tech
BTEC Professional Diploma (Civil Engineering)
For mature students, City of Bath College Distance Education Unit runs the BTEC Level 4 Professional Diploma Programme.
A 60-hour project, Highway Technology, and Highway Maintenance are required plus three courses chosen from:
- Highway Legislation and Administration,
- Highway Materials and Testing,
- Traffic Planning and Transport Management,
- Estimating and Costing
- Highway Design.
The total time to study a BTEC Professional Diploma (PD) is the sum of the individual courses chosen with a maximum time of 760 hours taken to complete.
