Highways Open Tech
Highways Open Tech
Aim of the course
Highways Open Tech uses distance learning packages in a similar way to the Open
University and no attendance at a college is necessary. Students may enrol at anytime and study at their own speed at home or work.
There is a wide range of options open to students – details of these can be found on separate course pages. On successful completion of a course, students will receive a Highways Open Tech Certificate issued by the City of Bath College - a nationally recognised qualification.
Other qualifications include both single and grouped courses certificated by BTEC
(Business& Technology Education Council) that can be used as a part of the qualifying process for professional registration with the EngineeringCouncil.)
Who is the course for?
Highways Open Tech courses are for anyone working, or planning to work, in the highways industry. Our advisors can help you choose the programme to meet your needs. There is no age limit, but mature students or people already in the industry will benefit particularly from these courses.
As the courses are by distance learning, the College is pleased to accept students outside the EU and overseas. There is an additional charge for postage.
