This one-day singing workshop is for those still yet to discover their singing talent or who have been too afraid to sing in anything but the shower before. American Jazz singer, Joan Davis will help you find your voice.

Go Gospel - Saturday
Be in a gospel choir for the day as experienced vocal tutor and gospel choir director, Jo Sercombe, puts you through your paces to create that special gospel group sound. Learn about vocal technique, harmony singing and the gospel performance style while having a go at the swaying and clapping. All welcome. No music-reading ability required.

Song Writing - Part 1
This seven-week course is aimed at students who can sing and play guitar or piano and who wish to develop their song writing. We will look at creativity, song writing tips and techniques, form, structure, lyrics, melody and harmony - through to the point at which you are ready to begin writing your own full-length song.

Song Writing - Part 2
This seven-week course follows on from part one or is aimed at advanced songwriters who do not wish to take part one. You will bring your songs to the group, perform them and receive feedback. You will develop rewriting and collaboration skills and perform your songs to an invited audience in the College's performance space.

Soul Divas - Beginners - Saturday
Exclusively for women, spend a day with the girls singing your favourite soul classics by Martha Reeves and the Vandellas and Aretha Franklin. Experienced vocal coach Jo Sercombe will introduce you to soul melodies and rhythms and singing backing harmonies. An ideal beginner's workshop in a group singing format. There's no need to read music notation. All levels of vocal experience welcome.
