Enrolling on Part Time Courses

Step 1: Look at our courses
There are various ways of finding the right course for you; using this website to search our vast course database, browsing the City of Bath College Part-time prospectus (see below), going through your Careers Advisor or Connexions Worker.

The Part-Time Prospectus is available for download (see link below) or can be picked up in person from the City of Bath College Student Advice Centre on Westgate Buildings or the Main Reception on St James Street West, Bath. They are also available to be picked up from B&NES Libraries, Connexions Centres and various other outlets.

Step 2: Choose your course
Browse the courses and choose one which is suitable to your needs and interests. When considering a course please bear these points in mind:

Is the course content what I’m looking for?
Do I have the right entry qualifications?
Does it lead to a recognised qualification and how important is this to me?
Can I attend at the times shown and for the length of time needed?
How much work will I need to do outside class and can I fit it in?
Can I afford it?
Do I need to get some advice from the College first?
Am I required to attend an interview for the course?

Step 3: Complete enrolment form
Download (see below) or pull out from the part-time prospectus the part-time course Learning Agreement Form (enrolment form); complete it and return this to the College. By completing this form and returning it to the College, providing there are spaces on your chosen course, you have been accepted onto this course and are now enrolling upon it.

Step 4: Start your course
Part-time courses start at various dates and times throughout the academic year, dependent upon the course. Once you are enrolled please ensure that you attend the correct course sessions that you have applied for and most importanly enjoy your learning experience at City of Bath College.
