Performing Arts Alumni
David Emery
I started at COBC. I was a shy and nervous person but with the help of the amazing teaching staff over my 3 years with them I managed to find my confidence both in performing and my personal life making a lot of good friends along the way.
Since leaving the college I have had a string of normal jobs but also I have been a blue coat at Pontins in Southport and have just finished an 8 month contract as an entertainer at a Norfolk holiday camp where my duties included running activities for families, kids clubs, quizzes, bingo, singing, dancing and working the lights and sound for the evening shows and cabarets. And for much of my success I have the teachers I worked with at COBC to blame! And am planning to join another holiday camp as a singer next year and eventually break out with my own cabaret act performing all over the country
