	Dean, Corporal DCM Boys Ammunition Technician Royal Logistics Corps British Army City of Bath College 2005 I completed the public service course in June 2005. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and would not hesitate to recommend it to someone wishing to join a public service. The course helped me prepare physically and mentally for my chosen service which was the armed forces. The various lessons that were taught gave me great knowledge of the services and from this i chose my career. I have currently served three years and have been based all around the UK for training purposes and am currently posted to Germany for 3 years. I am currently awaiting to go on my high threat number 2's course so I can go to Afghanistan as part of an Improvised explosive device disposal- IEDD (Bomb Disposal) team. I am also awaiting the dates for my physical training course so I can take up to 30 students for physical training.
	Charlotte Green Student Paramedic Great Western Ambulance Service   Studying the National Diploma in Public Services was two of my most enjoyable and beneficial years. I always knew even before starting the Public Service course that I wanted to become a paramedic. From undertaking the course I have gained skills, knowledge and a qualification that has helped me get into university and achieve my career goal. I achieved things I thought I would never be able to achieve. Working in a uniformed public service requires both academic and practical skills and the National Diploma in Public Services provides a good basis for your chosen career and future development.
	Marine Fletcher Royal Marine Commandos City of Bath College 2004-2006 During my time at the City of Bath College I gained many skills and attributes that have helped me apply and pass selection for my chosen public service career as a Royal Marine Commando. The course helped me decide which service to enter and provided me with practical experiences of many public service careers. I would like to thank the public services team for all the hard work that they put in to the course. I hope that many people like myself have a great experience at the City of Bath College and go on to have prosperous careers in their chosen service.
	Sapper Morgan 28th Engineers British Army After completing a 1st diploma in Uniformed Public Services Sam joined the 28th Engineers. He is currently on an advanced driver training course. Based in Hamlin, Germany His next deployment will be to Kenya as part of a human aid tour.
