Duration: 1 year

Level 2 qualifications in Beauty therapy.
Method of study
Classroom and practical salon work based assessment.
Assessment
Units are internally and externall assessed.
Continuous practidal assessment is used to teach and develop vocational competence
On completion of each unit an externally set multiple choice theory paper must be undertaken

- Epilation
- Eyelash extensions
- Self tanning
- Body massage
- Health, safety and A&P
Uniform, books & equipment required
Navy uniform & shoes at a cost of £90. Books and equipment will be required at extra cost TBC. Order forms will be supplied.
Code of dress
- Correct uniform must be worn in the beauty salon.
- Facial & tongue piercing is not permitted.
- Hair must be neatly tied back off the face.
- Nail extensions & varnish must not be worn.
- Only a small pair of stud earrings & a wedding ring are allowed to be worn in the salon.
Moving on to another course or career
Employment in beauty salons, cruise ships, hotels.
