Course Description
This course is for anyone working in the area of administration who wishes to train and equip themselves with the skills required to work in today’s modern office. All candidates compile a portfolio of evidence which will meet the National Standards of work set by the awarding body. As this is a work based course, it is only suitable for those learners who are working in a general administrative job role. There are a variety of units in this qualification which enable learners to tailor the qualification to their needs for example, accounting, IT based, general administrative work.Progression after qualification
The qualification allows a candidate to progress to either the workplace as detailed above or onto specialised qualifications at the same, or higher level.Assessment
Assessment is carried out in the workplace and the assessor will help you to identify any gaps through exercises and activities set between assessment visits.The Qualification Units
To achieve a full award, candidates must complete five units in total, from two mandatory units and three optional units.Mandatory units

- Prepare text from recorded audio instruction

- Work effectively with other people
