Art and Design
The Art and Design courses at City of Bath College are one of our greatest strengths, with the Art & Design department ranked Outstanding by a 2007 Ofsted inspection and consistently praised by our high achieving students. The facilities are considerable, including open plan art and design studios and specialist studios for photography, printmaking, ceramics, fashion and others. Teaching staff, many of them practising artists, are experienced and supportive, dedicated to getting the best out of their students. The Art & Design Foundation course is extremely popular with students throughout the region as an entry route into Higher Education art-related courses, but many other students begin their studies at the College with a First Diploma or National Diploma and progress through to HE from there.
