Course Details
The Qualification
BTEC Edexcel (Entry 1-Entry 3)
Entry Requirements
Students will have to have an interview and a literacy / numeracy assessment to determine their level.
Aim of the Course
This course aims to teach skills for independent living to young people who have had difficulties with education.
Who is the Course for?
The course is aimed at students between 16-25yrs old at Entry level (Pre-GCSE Level) with a focus on work, life and creative skills. Extra support is available and group sizes are between 8-10 students.
Course Content
The course includes hospitality and catering, I.T, literacy, numeracy and creativity.
Assessment
Continual assessment.
After the Course
Students may progress onto a PET programme, or any other Level 1 vocational course.
