Natural Theatre at The Skills Fair
Bath's most famous cultural export, the Natural Theatre Company, has long been renowned the world over for its unique brand of comic street theatre. Their obsessive eye for detail and high production values has proved a hit with the public in nearly 80 countries since they were founded in 1969.
At home, the company has been expanding its education and youth department, having recently opened a purpose-built youth street theatre studio within its Bath HQ. The Natural Youth Theatre now has fifty regular members and the company is also involved with local colleges and schools in providing highly successful street theatre workshops, often aimed at disadvantage or disengaged young people.
The Natural Theatre Company is now proud to announce their Short Course in Creative Arts. This is a course aimed at 16-19 year olds Not in Education Employment or Training. It will cover practical skills such as Make-up, Costume and Hair Design, Prop Making and Wig Dressing as well as performance skills. The Natural Theatre will be at the Skills Fair with an array of wonderful costumes, wigs and props as well as performers on hand showing what the Naturals do best.
