Ironart of Bath is a firm of artist blacksmiths based in workshops in Larkhall. Established in Bath in 1967 we are still a family run business headed up by Andy and Nichola Thearle. We comprise a team of highly skilled, loyal craftsmen who specialise in traditional metalworking techniques, many of whom have worked with the company for years.
Our business is split into three main areas: Bespoke projects, Restoration & repair, Furniture & garden structures
We take commissions for bespoke projects from private customers, architects, builders, interior designers amongst others. We oversee all aspects of a job from conception to final installation. Our metalwork is showcased all over the facades and streets of Bath, Bristol and the South West where we are well known for our expertise and great customer service.
We restore and repair a huge variety of metalwork, everything from large cast iron fireplaces, decorative wrought iron gates with lead detailing, to intricate window latches.
We sell a collection of heritage wrought iron furniture and pieces for the garden, all of which are made to order here in our workshops,
