We will be running a 'have a go event' with a 'real care baby', participants will be invited to understand some of the skills an apprentice may need when they start a career in childcare.
The simulated 'toy' baby is lifelike and weighs the same as a real 6 month old, participants will be invited to dress the baby, it's a fun task which also needs to be taken seriously considering that apprentices do this for a job in real life circumstances!
