Rotork is the market leading actuator manufacturing and flow control company with its head office based in Bath.
We have won a number of awards and most recently at "Britain's Most Admired Companies" awards ceremony in 2011.
We are delighted to be part of the B&NES Skills fair and look forward to displaying a selection of our products and explaining more about them; specifically what actuators are, how they function and where they are used and located throughout the world.
Our team of employees attending the event will include a number of our current apprentices who will be on hand to run through some example product demonstration and also to describe exactly what it is like to be a Rotork apprentice by talking through "a day in the life of...." material which they have devised themselves for the event.
Our engineering apprenticeship schemes have been running successfully for many years - we run a 4 year 'technical' and a 2 year 'craft/manufacturing' programme and we are also very pleased to have expanded our schemes to include a 1 year 'business administration' apprenticeship scheme.
We invite any potential budding engineers to visit our stand and we would be very pleased to answer any questions about any of our programmes and apprenticeship vacancies.
