Summer Schools at City of Bath College
If you are planning to have an enjoyable and enriching experience in the summer, attending a Summer School at City of Bath College in the centre of the world heritage city of Bath is for you. City of Bath College is the perfect choice for a study abroad experience
In the summer of 2012, we are offering four exciting summer school programmes:
- General English Language
- General and Academic English
- English with Art and Design

General English Language. 15 hours per week tuition You will improve your English Language skills and develop your confidence in the language for social, travel and career purposes |
09 July to 31 August 2012. You can attend for a minimum of 2 weeks. |
140 GBP per week 133 GBP per week if you join the course for four weeks or longer |

General and Academic English. 23 hours per week tuition Whilst improving your general English, you will also develop skills in academic reading, writing, listening and speaking and prepare for the IELTS test |
09 July to 31 August 2012. You can attend for a minimum of 2 weeks. |
200 GBP per week 190 GBP per week if you join the course for four weeks or longer |

English with Art and Design. 25 hours per week You will improve your English Language skills while developing skills in the area of art and design. The Art and Design department has been described as ‘outstanding' on each of the last three OFSTED inspections |

295 GBP per week 280 GBP if you join the course for four weeks |

Junior Summer School. 20 hours per week You will improve your English Language skills and develop your confidence in the language for social, travel and career purposes. The programme includes weekly half day excursions to local places of interest and a full day Saturday excursion and full board homestay accommodation. |

420 GBP per week 400 GBP per week if you join the course for four weeks |

Classes Préparatoires 30 hours per week This course is designed for students attending the classes préparatoires and planning to progress to one of Les Grandes Ecoles Scientifiques or de Commerce. This immersion English language course prepares you for the exam by focussing on the listening and speaking skills required whilst at the same time developing reading, writing and translation skills. The programme includes tuition, accommodation, lunch, a bus pass and visits. |
16 July to 10 August 2012. You can attend for between 1 and 4 weeks. |
850 GBP per week. 825.00 GBP per week if you join the course for 2 weeks or longer

Participants
The General and Academic English programme and the Art & Design programmes are designed for anyone over the age of 17.
The Junior Summer School programme is designed for students between 14 and 16.

We have classes for all levels except complete beginners and very advanced.
