Student services
We're here to help you achieve your dreams.
We know that receiving excellent personal support for students is vital if you are to do well with your course.
At City of Bath College we have vast facilities and resources on hand just to ensure that our students achieve their potential.
For full-time students there is a well-established personal tutor system, part-time students will be supported by their lecturers in these aspects. Tutoring is able to draw on the help of a counselling service that is free and confidential for all students. Student Services has particular knowledge of financial support that can be used by students. The College has a Prayer Room for use by students and staff of any faith. We also have links with organisations in Bath that represent a range of faiths and cultures and we can provide students with information about these on request.
Those seeking advice on progression from their course at the College can call on the assistance of the Careers/Information Advice and Guidance Advisors who are supported by the local Connexions service.
To support your studies the Learning Centre provides all students with access to a range of library resources - books, periodicals and audio-visual media. There is also an IT drop-in area, with over 50 computers for Internet research and software applications.
Overall, therefore, the College provides a comprehensive support service to its students.
