About Bath
The City of Bath is renowned for its historic Roman and Georgian connections. Much of the latter period's influence remains in 21st Century Bath along with a thriving student community made up of British and International students. People who choose to study in Bath find it an inspiring and exciting place to learn with innovative resources, facilities, activities and entertainment on hand to provide a unique learning environment.
Alongside the learning facilities of Bath are of course the vast recreational facilities; Roman Baths, Pulteney Bridge, Bath Abbey, Prior Park, Royal Crescent and Circus, Thermae Bath Spa, Royal Victoria Park (complete with skate park, adventure playground and botanical gardens), Fashion Museum, Assembly Rooms, American Museum, winding canals, Theatre Royal, legendary Moles Nightclub, vast array of restaurants, bars and hotels and miles of beautiful architecture and landscapes.
If students and visitors wish to explore outside of Bath then it has excellent road and rail links to the nearby city of Bristol and the cosmopolitan capital of Britain, London located only 120 miles east and 1 hour and 40 minutes by train.
